Yes, I offer both in-person and online assessments via secure video consultation. While it is entirely your choice if sessions are online or within your home, there may be situations in which I recommend at least one home-visit for the highest possible assessment standard. I should be able to inform you of this in or following your free 15 minute consultation.
Yes, I am delighted to be able to offer in depth assessments and recommendations without labels. Often services can insist on labels or diagnoses despite relevant legislation and guidelines (e.g. the equality act 2010, the NHS constitution) not requiring these. I will offer support to the best of my ability to ensure that this does not pose a barrier to accessing support that my assessments indicate would be needed.
A neurodevelopmental assessment is an evaluation that examines how your brain processes information, manages attention, and responds to different situations. It involves clinical interviews, standardised questionnaires, and observational assessments to identify conditions like ADHD or autism.
No. This service is not currently able to provide formal diagnoses following assessments.
If you are seeking a formal diagnosis, the wait for these can be joined here. It is not clear how long the waitlist will be though a minimum of three months wait is currently anticipated. The costs of these may vary during the waiting time. However, I will always do my best to be as reasonably priced as possible. Further information can be found on Together ADHD and Together Autism.
